Description
Guitar players are used to playing live through guitar amps and not wedges or PA systems, which differ greatly in how they respond, resonate, and interact with their playing. Guitar amps positioned on the floor played at high volume have a totally different type of response than the one offered by a standard FRFR-designed cab or PA, let alone a low-cost one. Additionally, Tone Models, captures and IR responses are all obtained through recording with a microphone in close contact with the guitar speaker. This is not how guitar players on stage typically hear their instruments at high volumes.
