The flamed maple top doesn’t just add to the look of the guitar, but also enhances the M-1000’s killer tone with warm lows and screeching highs. The ESP M-1000 has a set-thru neck design for massive sustain and strength. The rosewood fretboard is supple and fast enough for the flashiest of shredders out there — especially in combination with the M-1000’s extra-thin U-shaped neck. This thin neck means quicker maneuverability around the fretboard. Rounding out the ESP M-1000 are its pair of Fishman Fluence Modern Humbuckers.
